Arijit Singh

Arijit Singh is an Indian playback singer and composer who rose to prominence in the early 2010s with the Bollywood soundtrack of Aashiqui 2. Born in Jiaganj, West Bengal, he trained in classical music and gained national attention after winning the reality show Fame Gurukul. His emotive voice and wide vocal range have made him one of the most streamed Indian artists globally, with numerous chart-topping songs across Hindi, Bengali, and other regional film industries. He has collaborated with composers such as Pritam, A. R. Rahman, and Vishal–Shekhar and has received multiple Filmfare and National Film Awards.
