Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse was an English singer and songwriter from London who rose to international fame in the mid-2000s. Her second album Back to Black (2006) became one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century and won five Grammy Awards. Winehouse blended soul, jazz, R&B and ska influences with a distinctive retro vocal style. She released two studio albums, Frank (2003) and Back to Black, and collaborated with producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi. Her career was cut short by her death in 2011 at age 27.
